New York–Style Crumb Cake

1. Preheat oven to 325°F and spray a 9x13 pan.
2. Mix together all cake ingredients and pour into the prepared pan.
3. Bake for 15 minutes WITHOUT the crumbs.
4. While the cake starts baking, mix the crumb dry ingredients: flour, sugar, brown sugar, salt and cinnamon until combined. In a separate bowl stir together the melted butter and margarine and vanilla. Stream it into the dry ingredients while you toss with a fork until you have large, buttery crumbs.
5. Remove the cake from the oven and carefully scatter the crumbs over the top, starting around the edges and working your way toward the center. This helps prevent the crumbs from sinking.
6. Return to the oven and bake for approximately 20 more minutes or until a butter knife inserted into the center comes out clean.
7. Let cool, dust with powdered sugar, slice, and enjoy! 🤎🍰
